  • As a Catholic School, Religious Education is a very important part of our curriculum. However, the RE lessons, for which we use the Come and See scheme, are just part of what we offer. We believe our faith influences what happens within the school and all children are taught within the Catholic tradition. This influences our work, our play and our relationships with each other and the wider community.

To this end we foster a caring approach by supporting each other, by working closely with our parents/carers, parish and local community.

There are school masses, weekly class masses and a weekly whole school assembly at which parents/carers are always welcome. Daily prayers are said in class and there are key stage assemblies every week. It is on occasions such as these that we can all delight in celebrating our faith together.

Those children who are baptised Catholic are prepared for the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist in Year 3.

Above all we encourage everyone to treat each other with love and respect so that we can all live our lives through our faith.
